Moving and Shaking
This morning about 6:00 our baby was moving like crazy! Honestly, I don’t usually feel anything until late in the day, so this was a very big surprise. I quickly reached for Dan’s hand and put it on my belly, he was able to feel it too! It was quite special and definitely an excellent way to start off the day.
Busy for Our Baby
Today is our official sonogram day! We go at 2:00 to get a glimpse of our awesome little munchkin. I will make sure to let you all know how it went, it should be great even though we are still not going to find out what we are having. We haven’t had any type sonogram done since 12 weeks so we are definitely ready to see how much our baby has grown.
Over the weekend Dan and Nana painted the nursery and closet. It looks fantastic. They also painted the bathroom upstairs and it turned out really well, too. This evening we will probably put up new lights, towel bar, and other stuff in the bathroom. We went and picked everything up yesterday evening, it will be nice to get it up and see the finished product.
I am going to hold off on doing too much with the nursery until I pick out a crib. On Wednesday evening I am meeting up with Nana and Lara to look at the Marietta consignment sale, it should be fun and hopefully very productive.
The White Diamond
For those of you that do or have lived around here you will be shocked to know that until today I have never eaten at the White Diamond. Honest, Dan and I tried to go around his birthday this past year, but it was packed and we ended up somewhere else. Today I have fabulous news to share: I have officially partaken of food from none other than the White Diamond of Bonaire. Would you like to know how I can best describe it? Greasy (which may be an understatement but is probably the nicest way of telling you my opinion). Since I have been pregnant, I have stayed away from any heavy, greasy foods and today’s lunch was a definite shock to my system. At least now I don’t feel like a horrid resident of Bonaire because I have eaten at the White Diamond. Dan will be thrilled!
