Lunch with the Wood Fam
So my parents have been off work all this week. Today they invited me over to the house to eat lunch. Mom had roast, potatoes, cream 40 peas, and gravy…FABULOUS is an understatement. Dad took me down to the back of their property to show me a few areas that he has been working to clear out, it looks great. When we got back up to the house, mom had me some fresh, hot brownies for me. Needless to say, it was a pretty great lunch time.
Oh, and Jordan was there, too. He had his wisdom teeth taken out on Wednesday so he had the whole chipmunk look going. Very cute.
The Rack
After church last night, Dan kindly agreed to take me to the fair again…to eat. After we finished with the fries and a pork butt on a stick, we got a funnel cake. We decided that we would eat as we watched the (all girl) band play.
My husband looks over to me mid way through the first song and says, “That bassist has a nice rack.”
Wow.
Then proceeds with, “You know, amp rack.”
Perfect. My man is checking out another woman’s rack of amps, great.
The Georgia National Fair
We absolutely love the fair! We went this past weekend with the Wood family one day then the Perdues the next day. Of course, we stopped by the cow show, too. This past Monday night we decided that we would do our “date night” there. What a blast! Our mission was to eat as much “fair food” as we wanted to. It was a lot of fun.
Above is a picture of some curly fries from Wild Bill’s Curly Fries, they were amazing!
