Just Jessica

As Dan gets in bed last night he informs me that Babe decided that she would lick the silverware in the opened dishwasher while he had his back turned to her. Luckily they were dirty at the time and got washed after her “taste test”!

Dan and I went to look at cows yesterday evening.  We have decided to invest in a brood cow named Sam and her twin heifer calves named…well, they don’t have names just yet.  Sam was bred with an Angus bull this past fall, so there is another calf on the way.  I am really looking forward to getting them to our pasture, we are going to have to look at expanding the fence, but that may have to wait until wheat season is over.   Including our heifer Pumpkin that brings us to a grand total of four cows with another on the way.  To some that may sound kind of pitiful, but I think it is an absolutely wonderful start!
