Our “Engagement Day”
I am pretty sentimental and I like to try and remember important dates. Tomorrow will mark a year to the date that Dan and I got engaged. It is so WIERD to think of how much has changed in just the short time.
Tons of great and wonderful things have happened. We planned a wedding that has come and gone (it was an awesome day, don’t get me wrong). Dan and I have been having a truly awesome time starting our life together. We have two cool new nephews, Jim and Stephanie’s Judd and John and Paula’s Luke. Dan’s dad has been re-elected to a second term in office. Furniture has been bought for the house. Roy has truly enjoyed his new “insided dog” status. Dan got a big, manly 4X4 truck.
It is amazing how blessed we have been. God has truly been good to us. So as I look back over the past year, I am truly amazed. It seems like it was just last week that Dan got down on one knee and asked me to be his bride!
